About Author
Dr. Piyush Chandra is an Assistant Professor at Government Pharmacy College, Nalanda, Bihar. He holds a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from NIMS University, Jaipur, Rajasthan, and an M.Pharm. in Pharmaceutics. With over 11 years of experience in pharmacy education, he has made significant contributions to teaching and research. He has published more than 18 research papers in reputed journals and conference proceedings. Dr. Chandra also holds three patents, reflecting his commitment to innovation in pharmaceutical sciences. Additionally, he is a Government-approved Drug Manufacturing Chemist in the Parenteral Preparation Division.
Shalini Saini is currently working as an Assistant Professor in Motherhood University. She is a research Scholar of PhD from Teerthakar Mahavir University Moradabad. She has completed her B.Pharm and M.Pharm both from Roorkee College of Pharmacy Roorkee. She is having 7.5 years’ experience in teaching and 2.5 years’ experience in industry. She publish various research and review article in international journal with three published patent. She undergone many conference and workshops and also awarded as a “Researcher of the year” in National conference association with IPGA entitled- Role of Biosciences in Integrative Medicine and Holistic Health held in Arihant College of Pharmacy Haridwar in October 2024.She also work as a convenor and Resource Person in many International conferences..

She has more than 7 years of teaching experience in reputed academic organizations. She served as Assistant Professor in Himalayan institute of Pharmacy and research, Dehradun, College of Pharmacy, Shivalik campus, Dehradun. She completed her B.Pharm from SBSPGI and M.Pharm (Pharmaceutics) from SGRRITS (Uttarakhand Technical University) and Pursuing Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics from Shri Guru Ram Rai University, Patelnager, Dehradun. She has continuously upgraded her academic expertise through numerous MOOC/NPTEL certification courses, faculty development programmes, workshops, seminars, and short-term training programmes in pharmaceutical sciences, research methodology, academic writing, quality management, Nano science, bioinformatics, AI integration in pharmacy education, and intellectual property rights.Her research focuses on novel drug delivery systems, Solid dosage form development and Herbal and Natural Product formulation in modern drug delivery. She has published more than 10 papers in reputed National and International Journal, authored 4 book chapters, and holds 5 granted patents. She has received the Best Teacher Award 2023 from Uttarakhand Technical University and the Teacher of the Year Award 2022 from the Uttarakhand Pharmacy Council, APTI Uttarakhand, and IPA Uttarakhand. She is a Life time member of Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI) and the member of Society for Ethno pharmacology. She has presented her research at several national and international conferences, and actively serves as a reviewer for scientific journals.
