About Book

Advanced Pharmaceutical Analysis is a comprehensive guide to modern analytical principles used to ensure the safety, efficacy, and quality of pharmaceutical products. It covers impurity and stability studies in depth, including classification, quantification, and control of impurities, degradation products, and residual solvents as per ICH and WHO guidelines. The book explains elemental impurity analysis, stability testing protocols, and mechanistic factors like temperature, pH, and ionic strength affecting drug stability. It also addresses impurity profiling, degradant characterization, photostability, and specialized requirements for biological products. Dedicated chapters on phytopharmaceuticals, biological tests, and immunoassay techniques (such as RIA, ELISA, optical, and luminescence assays) link analytical theory to real-world pharmaceutical applications. Emphasizing regulatory compliance, method validation, and practical lab skills, the book serves as a valuable resource for pharmacy students, researchers, and industry professionals.
