About Book
Pharmaceutics-I introduces the fundamental concepts of pharmaceutical sciences related to the design and preparation of dosage forms. The book focuses on the principles involved in converting active pharmaceutical ingredients into safe, effective, and stable dosage forms for patient use.
The content of this book includes pharmaceutical calculations, principles of dosage form development, pharmaceutical ingredients, liquid dosage forms, suspensions, emulsions, powders, and pharmaceutical incompatibilities. Special emphasis is given to the practical aspects of formulation development and the role of excipients in pharmaceutical products.
The book has been prepared according to the PCI syllabus for B.Pharm students and aims to provide both theoretical knowledge and practical understanding of pharmaceutical formulations.
About Author
1.Palle Moulika is currently working as Assistant professor at Joginpally B R Pharmacy college (Telangana ).She has completed her Masters from Gokaraju Rangaraju college of pharmacy (Telangana ). She has 7 years of teaching experience in pharmaceutics department. Has participated in Various academic publications ,patents, research activities and educational initiatives aimed at enhanced pharmaceutical knowledge and professional practice .She has been actively involved in teaching, research guidance, training and placement and academic activities related to pharmacy practice and pharmaceutical sciences.
2. Shivani chandra Jadhav is currently working as Assistant professor at Joginpally B R Pharmacy college (Telangana ).Has 2.5 years experience in teaching in the department of Pharmaceutics .
