The titled book, “Textbook of Pharmacology II” (As per PCI regulation). The idea of book originated by authors to convey a combined database for easy understanding of Pharmacology. The major aim to write this textbook is to provide information in articulate summarized manner to accomplish necessities of undergraduates as per PCI regulation. About Author
Dr. Aswini Kumar Senapati currently holds the position of Associate Professor & Head of the Department of Pharmacology, Institute of Pharmacy & Technology, located in Salipur, Cuttack, Odisha, India. He earned his undergraduate degree in 1997 from Roland Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Berhampur, Odisha, affiliated with Berhampur University, Odisha. Subsequently, he had completed his postgraduate studies in 2001 at the K.M. College of Pharmacy, Madurai, Tamilnadu, affiliated with The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai. Dr. Senapati obtained his PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Andhra University, Vishakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh in 2013. With over 22 years of experience in teaching and research, he has made significant contributions to the field. His scholarly work includes the publication of over 25 research articles and securing 1 patent. Furthermore, he has provided guidance to more than 10 postgraduate students and guided 2 students for their PhD degrees. His primary areas of expertise encompass Phytopharmacological evaluation, bioassay guided isolation of natural products, and experimental design for animal studies, reflecting a comprehensive and accomplished career in pharmaceutical sciences.
Dr. Mohammad Ali is a distinguished pharmacist, educator and researcher. Presently, he is working as a Professor in the Department of Pharmacology at Sri Adichunchanagiri College of Pharmacy, B.G. Nagara, Mandya, Karnataka. He has completed M. Pharm in Pharmacy Practice in 2008 from Annamalai University, and completed Ph.D. in Pharmacology in 2019 from JSS College of Pharmacy, Mysore under the grant of Vision Group of Science and Technology (VGST) and with a fellowship of Maulana Azad National Fellowship (MANF). He has 16 years of teaching and research experience and his major area of research interest is cancer biology and neuropharmacology.
