About Author
Dr. (Prof.) R. Shanmuga Sundaram is a distinguished academician and researcher with over 30 years of extensive experience in teaching and research. He is currently serving as the Principal of Madin College of Pharmacy, Malappuram, Kerala. He was an approved PhD supervisor/guide in The Tamilnadu Dr MGR Medical University, Chennai, Tamilnadu till 2023 and Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur, Kerala, India, since 2023. Dr. R. Shanmuga Sundaram has an impressive scholarly portfolio, with more than 100 research articles published in reputed, peer-reviewed journals, reflecting his profound contributions to the advancement of pharmaceutical sciences. His areas of expertise span across pharmacology and neurodegenerative and related disciplines, and his work is widely recognized for its academic rigor and practical relevance. He was a recipient of the Senior Research Fellowship from AICTE, New Delhi, India, for his Doctoral degree at Jadavpur University, Kolkata, West Bengal, India. As a co-author of a textbook in Pharmacology, and 02 Indian patents, Dr. R. Shanmuga Sundaram brings a wealth of knowledge, academic integrity, and an unparalleled commitment to quality education. He was also the President of the Indian Pharmaceutical Association, Bhavani-Komarapalayam Local branch, Tamilnadu. His dedication to fostering academic excellence and innovation makes him an invaluable contributor to this scholarly endeavor.
Dr. Suresh Vadivelu is presently working as Professor and Head, Department of Pharmacology at Arunai College of Pharmacy, Tiruvannamalai, Tamilnadu. He has overall 15 years of teaching, administrative and research experience. He has one Indian patent right and published 3 book chapter's in National Publishers. Also he published 40 research and review papers in various National and International Journals. He has completed UG and PG from JKKM college of Pharmacy and Ph.D from SunRise University, Alwar, Rajasthan.
Mrs. Patibandla. Jahnavi is an accomplished academician and researcher in the field of pharmaceutical sciences. She holds masters in pharmaceutical sciences from JSS University, Mysore and undergraduate from Sri Ramchandra University, Chennai. Presently she is pursuing her PHD from Galgotias University, greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. She has contributed significantly to pharmaceutical education, presently serving as assistant professor at KVSR siddhartha College of Pharmaceutical sciences, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh.She continuously inspires the students and contribute to academic excellence, her dedication towards learning, teaching and research methodologist shows is a valuable asset in the field of pharmaceutical sciences.She has National and international publications and patents . Her commitment towards the growth and knowledge in Pharma field is incredible.
Prof. Vineetha S is working as Principal & Professor in Fathima College of Pharmacy, Kilikolloor, Kollam, Kerala, India. Prof. Vineeta S, has over 9 Years of teaching and administrative experience. She completed her UG from Dale View College of Pharmacy, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala and PG from JKKN College of Pharmacy, Tamilnadu and is pursuing her Doctoral research programme (Ph.D) in a reputed University. Prof. Vineeta S, has published more than 30 research articles in peer-reviewed national and international journals. Prof. Vineetha S, had recently applied for an Indian patent in 2025. Prof. Vineetha S, is an expert in the field of pharmacology and is actively involved in IPA and Pharmacy related academic activities and innovative ideas in drug discovery.
Dr. C. Balalakshmi is currently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Nanoscience and Technology, Alagappa University, Tamilnadu (India). she has 8 years of enriched teaching experience for postgraduate levels. Her field of Research is Nano Marine Biology, Bio Nano Materials, Nano Green Biology, Nano Medical Bio Technology, Nano Anti Coating Food Packaging Application. she has completed several “ RUSA 2.0 Theme Based Research Project Grant Allocation” research funded projects. she has more than 20 publications to his credit in peer reviewed indexed journals. she has been recognized ‘Guide’ for M.Phil and Ph.D Students. she is also a Editor Board Member of Innovative Scientific research Professional, Malaysia and Editor Member of Global Management Council- Glacier Journal Research Foundation, Ahmedabad, Gujarat and Life Member of Indian Science Congress Association at Kolkata and Membership in Asia’s Who’s Who, Asian Biographies, Rifacimento International, New Delhi.(The U.G.C start up grant(Ref – No F 30-381/2017 RUSA- Phase 2.0 grant ( No F.24.51/2014-U Policy(TN Multi-Gen) has been of great support and help to me in writing this book.
