About Book
The titled book, “Textbook of Pharmacology I” (As per PCI regulation). The idea of book originated by authors to convey a combined database for easy understanding of Pharmacology. This book is intended to communicate information on novel drug delivery techniques, to direct tutors and learners regarding fundamental concepts in Pharmacology I. The major aim to write this textbook is to provide information in articulate summarized manner to accomplish necessities of undergraduates as per PCI regulation. This volume is designed not only according to curriculum of undergraduate courses in pharmacy by PCI but also to communicate knowledge on Pharmacology Jurisprudence for post graduate learners. Dr. V. Jaya Sankar Reddy M. Pharm, Ph.D, MBA , DHM, PGDCA is currently working as Vice principal at Krishna Teja pharmacy college, Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh with 30 years’ experience in teaching and Research. He has completed his Graduation from V. L. College of pharmacy, Raichur, Karnataka, Post graduation from SRM University, Chennai, Tamilnadu, MBA from Sikkim Manipal University, Ph.D from Acharya University, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. He guided more than 100 UG students, 62 PG students and 2 Ph.D scholars. He is actively engaged in Teaching, Research, Administration and service to his profession. He has seven Patents, 2 book chapters, 3 books, 68 Research articles and 5 Awards on his credit. He has attended and organized various seminars, Workshops, conferences, symposiums, life member in various professional bodies and BOS Member. His area of Interest includes s CNS, CVS, Diabetes and arthritis research.
Mr. P.S Minhas working as Principal in Priyadarshini College of Pharmacy, Koratagere, Tumkur. He is serving as President INDIAN PHARMACEUTICAL ASSOCIATION Tumkur Branch Koratagere since 2002 till date, Executive committee Member of IPA National Mumbai 2002-2004. Executive committee Member of Indian Society of Pharmacognosy 2001-2004. Executive committee Member of Indian Society of Pharmacology Lucknow 2000-2004.Member-Association of Community Pharmacist Of India, Member – Association of Pharmacy Teachers of India – APTI, Member – Indian Society for Technical Education, has guided around 35 PG students and published around 12 articles in renown publications, Organized around 14 Health Checkup camps and 6 seminars.
