About author : Dr. Sister Shanta Joseph, M.Sc., M.Phil, Ph.D, CG SET Currently serves as Principal of Holy Cross Women's College, Ambikapur. Along with administrarive work she is activily involved in acadmic and research activities and to her credit 23 years of taching experience both in under graduate and post graduate level. She obtained a Master's degree in Microbiology from Rani Durgawati Vishwavidyalay, Jabalpur, M.Phil from Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur under the mentorship of Dr. Aditi Poddar and obtained her Doctoral degree from SGGV Sarguja under the supervision of Prof. S.K. Jadhav Dept. of Biotechnology, Pt. R.S. University, Raipur. She has published 15 research papers in National / International Journals and held defferent academic positions in the University as member BoS Microbiology and Academic Council, Sarguja Vishwavidyalay, Ambikapur and Chairman Board of studies of Microbiology for 12 years. She has life membership in the society for basic and Applied mycology. She has attendended / convened many National / International Conferences / Workshops and presented papers. Dr. Usha Shukla is Assistant Professor & Head of the Dept. of Chemistry in Holy Cross Women’s College, Ambikapur, Chhattisgarh having 36 years of teaching experience to her credit. She has got 8 publications in her name as a Ph.D scholar in esteemed national & international journals. Also contributed as an Organising Secretary in one international seminar conducted at Holy Cross Women’s college. She has been a constant guiding force in her career as a Mentor for her Post Graduate & Under Graduate students. She has attended various national & international conferences.
