About Book
The titled book, “Textbook of Pharmacology I” (As per PCI regulation). The idea of book originated by authors to convey a combined database for easy understanding of Pharmacology. This book is intended to communicate information on pharmacology, to direct tutors and learners regarding fundamental concepts in Pharmacology I. The major aim to write this textbook is to provide information in articulate summarized manner to accomplish necessities of undergraduates as per PCI regulation. This volume is designed not only according to curriculum of undergraduate courses in pharmacy by PCI but also to communicate knowledge on Phamacology for post graduate learners. We assured this book will be originated very valuable by graduates, post graduates, professors and industrial learners.
About Author
Dr. Brahma Srinivasa Rao Desu completed Ph.D & M.Pharm in Pharmacology from J.S.S. College of Pharmacy, Ootacamund, Tamilnadu, India; B.Pharm & D.Pharm from Sri.K.V.College of Pharmacy, Chickballapur, Karnataka, India. Presently working as a Professor & HOD, Department of Pharmacology, Hindu college of Pharmacy, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, India with 21 years of experience in Teaching & Research. 2 Patents applied. Guiding 2 Ph.D Scholars. Guided 34 PG students and 15 UG students for their dissertation work. Published 26 research & review articles in various national & international peer reviewed journals. Google scholar Citations is 419. Attended and organized various seminars & conferences. Life member in various professional bodies like IPA, APP, APTI, IPGA, SPER, NISED, IPS & LASA. Received Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam Lifetime Achievement National Award.
Prof. Kakasaheb. J. Kore is currently working in Rajgad Dnyanpeeth’s College of Pharmacy, Bhor, Pune (Maharashtra). He has More than 28 years of teaching experience. He has completed his Graduation and Post-Graduation from Shivaji University Kolhapur. He has presented research papers in National and International Conference at Bhutan, Nepal and in India, also got Best paper presentation award. He has published and presented more than 40 research papers in National, International Journals & Conferences. He has attended more than 20 Conferences/ Seminars/ Workshops. He has guided a number of PG students; He has three patents and four books on his credit, and also delivered a number of guest lectures in different colleges. He has completed two research projects under SPPU, Pune. He has worked as a member of the staff selection committee. He is a life member of the Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI). He is actively engaged in Teaching, Research, Administration and service to his profession.
