About Book
The titled book, “Textbook of Pharmacology I” (As per PCI regulation). The idea of book originated by authors to convey a combined database for easy understanding of Pharmacology. This book is intended to communicate information on novel drug delivery techniques, to direct tutors and learners regarding fundamental concepts in Pharmacology I. The major aim to write this textbook is to provide information in articulate summarized manner to accomplish necessities of undergraduates as per PCI regulation. This volume is designed not only according to curriculum of undergraduate courses in pharmacy by PCI but also to communicate knowledge on Pharmacology Jurisprudence for post graduate learners. About Author
Mrs. B. Anandhi currently holds the position of Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmacology, The Erode College of Pharmacy, located in Erode, Tamil Nadu, India. She has completed her undergraduate degree in 2015 at Bharathi College of Pharmacy, K.M. Doddi, Karnataka affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore and her Postgraduate studies completed in 2017 at Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Paramedical Sciences, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, affiliated with The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai. With over 6.5 years of experience in teaching and research, she has made a significant contribution to the field. She has presented more than 10 Oral and Poster presentation in various Conferences and Symposium. She is a life member of Indian Pharmacy Graduates’ Association, (LM-5930), she has knowledgeable in teaching all subjects of Pharmacology & Toxicology. She is proficient in researching anti-hyperlipidemic and anti-cancer activities. She has presented several papers and participated in various National and International conferences. She has published more than 3 research papers in National and International Journals.
Dr. D. Swathi is M. Pharm., Ph. D working as H.O.D., Department of Pharmacology in Samskruti college of pharmacy, Ghatkesar, Hyderabad, She was awarded her Ph.D from JNTU, Hyderabad. She has completed her graduation and post graduation from Sri padmavathi Mahila Vishva Vidyalayam , Tirupati .She has 17 years of experience in research and teaching . She has published 20 research papers in national and international journals and has holding 2 patents. She has attended several national and international level seminars, workshops and faculty development programs.
