The title of the book is " PHARMACOGNOSY -I". The writers' original intent for the book was to present a compiled database for PHARMACOGNOSY-I that was simple to understand. This book's purpose is to enlighten readers on cutting-edge drug delivery methods and to steer instructors and students toward key ideas in Pharmacognosy-I.
The main goal of writing this textbook was to give material in a clear, concise manner to fulfill undergraduate students' needs in accordance with PCI guideline. This book was created to educate post-graduate students on pharmaceutical jurisprudence as well as adhere to the PCI curriculum for pharmacy undergraduate courses. About Author
Dr. Pankaj Pradhan is presently working as Professor, Swami Keshvanand Institute of Pharmacy, Jaipur (Rajasthan). He completed his graduation from Punjab Technical University, Jalndhar with distinction, post-graduation from Jaipur National University, Jaipur with Gold medal. He has 14 years of teaching and research experience. He has guided over 55 graduate students and 06 postgraduate students. His areas of research is about standardization of Herbal drugs, Phytochemistry, Herbal regulation and comprise role of oxidative stress in behavioral, systemic and inflammatory responses of animals, cellular and molecular basis of oxidative stress & endocrine pharmacology. He published 30 research and review papers in various National and International journals, and presented 32 papers in national and international conferences. He has delivered 10 invited talks and organized 04 national seminars.
Mr. Abhishek Godara, presently working as a Associate Professor in Jaipur college of pharmacy, Jaipur, Rajasthan. He has more than 14 year’s academic & administrative experience. He has completed his graduation & post graduation from S.D. college of pharmacy, Barnala, Punjab. He has presented research and review papers in national and international conferences / workshops. He has published 5 papers in UGC and Scopus indexed journals. He has filed 1 patent. He has guided number of UG & PG students. He has area of interest is standardization, extraction, isolation and biological activity evaluation.
Dr. J. Karthi, passed B. Pharm from Pallavan Pharmacy college, Kancheepuram, Tamil Nadu under The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R Medical University, Chennai in 2001. Thereafter he looks M. Pharmacy (Pharmacognosy) Degree in 2007 from Vel's college of Pharmacy Pallavarm Chennai under the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R Medical University Chennai.
