Prof. (Dr.) Suman Acharyya is working as Professor in Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry at Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Institute of Pharmacy, Chakdaha, Nadia, West Bengal. Prof. S. Acharyya obtained his B. Pharm from College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Mohuda under Berhampur University (BU), Odisha in 2004 and M. Pharm in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Institute of Pharmacy and Technology, Salipur under Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT), Odisha in 2006. He was awarded Ph.D. from Berhampur University, Berhampur, Odisha in 2012. His main areas of interest in research includes in Isolation of phytoconstituents, Toxicological study of herbs and natural products. He has published 40 research articles (Google Scholar Citations-330, h-index-10, i10 index-11) in various international and national journals as well as represented more than 22 papers in various international and national conferences. He has also published three books and one book chapter to his credit. Presently he is guiding one Ph.D research scholar under him. He is life member of Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI) and now he is the Vice president of APTI, West Bengal Branch.
