About Book

This laboratory manual is designed to provide a comprehensive hands-on approach to understanding the essential principles of human anatomy and physiology. It includes a series of experiments that allow students to engage with various biological systems through detailed, structured practicals. Each experiment is designed to enhance the student’s understanding of the human body and its functions, with a focus on cellular and systemic processes. The experiments cover a wide range of topics, from basic tools like the compound microscope to more complex physiological processes such as blood grouping, blood pressure measurement, and the estimation of vital parameters like heart rate and haemoglobin levels. These exercises are critical for building practical skills and reinforcing theoretical knowledge. By conducting these experiments, students will gain insight into both normal physiological functions and diagnostic techniques used in medical and clinical settings. The manual also emphasizes the importance of safety and precision in conducting laboratory work. It aims to bridge the gap between theory and practice, allowing students to not only learn but also apply their knowledge to real-world biological problems. This structured, hands-on approach will provide students with a deeper understanding of the complexity of the human body and the physiological mechanisms that sustain life.
