Biostatistics complements research by applying statistical principles to biological data. It enables researchers to summarize data, test hypotheses, determine associations, and draw valid conclusions. Common biostatistical methods include descriptive statistics, probability distributions, hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and survival analysis. Together, these fields ensure that research findings are not only scientifically sound but also statistically significant and practically relevant. A comprehensive understanding of both is essential for designing robust studies, minimizing bias, and ensuring evidence-based practice in medicine, public health, and allied sciences.

Dr. Vishal Dadasaheb Yadav is presently working as Professor and Head in Department of Pharmaceutics, at Arvind Gavali College of Pharmacy Jaitapur, Satara. He has overall 17 years of teaching, administrative, research and industrial experience. He has 05 granted patents on his credit. He has published 02 books and 50 research papers in various National and International peer reviewed journals. He has guided 31 PG students. He has delivered 05 expert lectures. He has provided consultancy to pharmaceutical industries. He has completed his UG from Satara College of Pharmacy, Shivaji University Kolhapur, PG from Annamalai University, Chidambaram and Ph.D. from VELS University (VISTAS), Chennai. His area of research interests includes Pelletization techniques, Multiparticulates for anticancer drugs, Different Validation techniques.
Prof. Dr. Mrunal K.Shirsat, Principal RMP’S Bhalchandra College of Pharmacy Pune. Obtained his master degree in Pharmacognosy from North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon and His Ph.D (Pharmacognosy) Pharmaceutical science from Rajasthan University of Health Science, Jaipur during 2008-2012. D.Sc and D,Litt in M.E.C University, USA. He has 16 Patent in his Credit, He has published 140 research paper in National /International journals and attend various International/National seminar/Conferences as well as having more than 18 years teaching and He has 2.6 years Industrial Experience work as an Chemist and Scientist in Nicholas Piramal and Zydus Cadila, He has 16 student awarded in PhD under guidance. He has 15 Books on his credit. He has President of Association of Pharmacy Professionals APP (Membership, MH State Branch), International conference on Indo-African conference organized as Convener at L.S.D.P College Pharmacy, Pune in 2019 and he achieved Best Principal Award in Academic year 2018-19. And also International conference on INDO –US conference organized at RMP’S Pune in 2024 and he achieved Best Academic Outstanding Award in Academic year 2023-24 by APP, Maharashtra State Branch.
Dr. Santosh Rangnath Tarke is B.PHARM from Government college of pharmacy, Karad , M.PHARM From JSS College of pharmacy, Ooty and Ph.D. from VELS Institute of Science, Technology, and Advanced Studies (VISTAS) Chennai. He has more than 16 years of teaching experience and has published several research papers in various national and international journals.
Dr. Vaibhav R. Vaidya is presently working as Associate Professor, Department of Pharmaceutics, at Dr. D. Y. Patil College of Pharmacy, Akurdi, Pune. He has overall 17 years of teaching, administrative, research and industrial experience. He has published 03 Indian patents. He has authored 14 research and review papers in various National and International journals. He has guided 20 PG students. He has delivered many expert lectures. He has co-authored book chapter “Computational Tools to Predict Drug Release Kinetics in Solid Dosage Forms” in book namely “Software and Programming Tools in Pharmaceutical Research” in Year 2024, Pages 249-279, Bentham Science Publisher.
He has also co-authored a book namely “Perspectives of Deferent Validation and Calibration Techniques” in 2023, Nirali Publication, Pune, Maharashtra and “Tablet Dosage Form: An Industrial Aspect” in 2025, Shashwat Publications, Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh.He has provided consultancy to pharmaceutical industries. He has completed his PG from RGUHS, Bangalore and Ph.D. from JNTU, Hyderabad. His area of research includes dermatology formulations, solubility improvement studies and novel drug delivery systems.
Dr. Sudhir V. Pandya is presently working as Professor of Practice at Dr D Y Patil College of Pharmacy Akurdi Pune. He has overall 36 years of Industrial and 05 years of teaching, administrative, research experience. He is working committee member for Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission. He has also conducted Pre-Inspection Audits for various pharmaceutical companies. He has published 5 books and 12 research and review papers in various National and International journals. He has delivered many expert lectures in various colleges and scientific forums. He has provided consultancy to pharmaceutical industries. He has completed his PG from Singhania University, Rajasthan and Ph.D. from Bundelkhand University. His core competency is in quality assurance, analytical method development, regulatory affairs, formulation development and pharmaceutical audits.
