The titled book is “Textbook of PHARMACOGNOSY AND PHYTOCHEMISTRY-II” (As per PCI regulation). The idea of book originated by authors to convey a combined database for easy understanding of PHARMACOGNOSY AND PHYTOCHEMISTRY-II. This book is intended to communicate information on novel drug delivery techniques, to direct tutors and learners regarding fundamental concepts in pharmacognosy and phytochemistry. Dr. Averineni Ravi Kumar is working as Professor, Department of Pharmacognosy in Nimra College of Pharmacy Vijayawada Andhra Pradesh. He has Completed Doctorate in Biotechnology from Bharathidasan University Tiruchchirapalli Tamil Nadu in 2009 on thesis Entitled" Ethnopharmacological Studies of Selected Plants of Caesalpiniaceae" He has Obtained M. Pharmacy Specialization in Pharmacognosy Secured Highest Marks in Final Semester in Completion and B. Pharmacy Degrees from A U College of Pharmaceutical Sciences Andhra University Visakhapatnam Andhra Pradesh. He has About 31 Years of Teaching Experience. He has worked as Lecturer to Dean Positions in Pharmacy Colleges he has worked. He has Participated in Webinars as Organizer, Guest Speaker, Attended Workshops QIP in Faculty Development Programmes and Presented Papers in Various Sessions. He is Life Member of IPA OPF APTI ABAP. He has Published about more than 100 Research Papers in National and International Journals. He is Author of Books of Industrial Pharmacy II, Biopharmaceutics and Pharmacokinetics, Pharmaceutical Jueisprudence and Pharmacognosy I. He has about 2 Patents Works on Herbs.
Dr. Pankaj Pradhan is presently working as Professor, Swami Keshvanand Institute of Pharmacy, Jaipur (Rajasthan). He completed his graduation from Punjab Technical University, Jalndhar with distinction, post-graduation from Jaipur National University, Jaipur with Gold medal. He has 14 years of teaching and research experience. He has guided over 55 graduate students and 06 postgraduate students. His areas of research is about standardization of Herbal drugs, Phytochemistry, Herbal regulation and comprise role of oxidative stress in behavioral, systemic and inflammatory responses of animals, cellular and molecular basis of oxidative stress & endocrine pharmacology.
