About author : 1.Dr. KARUNAKAR HEGDE Dr. Karunakar Hegde M. Pharm, Ph. D is Professor and HOD, Department of Pharmacology, Srinivas College of Pharmacy Mangalore, Karnataka, India. He has completed his M. Pharm in Pharmacology in 2005 and Ph. D. in Pharmaceutical sciences in 2012 from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka, Bangalore. He has total 20 years teaching experience. Presently he is serving as BOS Member Pharm D Programme of RGUHS Bangalore. He has authored 3 book chapters and published more than 80 research and review publications in peer revived indexed National and International journals, participated in several conferences and faculty development programmes. Currently he has 2 patents in his credit. He has rich experience in pharmacology, toxicology and medicinal plant research. He is a life member of many professional bodies. He has completed the research grant project funded by RGUHS Bangalore. 2. Ms. Richa Shakya Ms. Richa Shakya working as Assistant Professor in Pharmacology Department, Noida Institute of Engineering and Technology (Pharmacy Institute), Greater Noida. She had 6 years experience in academics. She pursuing Ph.D from GLA University, Mathura. She guided more than 20 B.Pharm Projects and one M. Pharm student. She had more than 7 publications in national and international journal. Her areas of interest are Diabetic Nephropathy, Nephropharmacological Studies.
