About Author
Dr. Asish Bhaumik is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry at the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Girijananda Chowdhury University (GCU), Tezpur Campus, Assam. With over two decades of experience, he has taught at various prestigious institutions across India. Dr. Bhaumik has published 78 research papers in prominent journals and presented at 60 national and international conferences, earning multiple Best Paper Awards. He holds two patents, including a UK Design Patent and six Indian patents, reflecting his innovative contributions to the field. Additionally, Dr. Bhaumik has authored two books, including Textbook of Pharmacology and A Textbook of Pharmaceutical Biotechnology. Dr. Bhaumik is currently guiding four PhD cholars at GCU, Assam. As a life member of professional organizations like ACT, ISCB, APTI and SBC(I) he is deeply committed to advancing pharmaceutical education and research, significantly influencing the academic community through his scholarly and professional engagements.
Dr. Saloni Kakkar currently holds the position of Associate Professor in Pharmaceutical Chemistry at Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak. She completed her Ph. D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak. She received a merit award by IPGA for standing first in B. Pharmacy 2nd year and was awarded for Best Ph.D. Thesis in the year 2018-19 based on impact factor publications appended in the thesis. Dr. Kakkar has been involved in teaching, research, mentoring, advising, and administration during the past 15 years. Her key areas of research includes synthesis of medicinally important compounds, anticancer and antimicrobial screening and new drug development. She has published 47 articles in SCI journals, 9 book chapters, participated in more than 65 conference presentations, and also serves as a Reviewer of various journals and has jointly edited 2 books.
Mrs. Manali Milind Bhide working as lecturer in Dr. J. J. Magdum Trust's Anil Alias Pintu Magdum Memorial Pharmacy College, Dharangutti, Tal. Shirol, Dist. Kolhapur, Maharashtra, India. She has 20 years of Academic experience and 1 year of industrial experience. She has published 12 papers in different national and international journals and undergone more than 40 trainings/ FDPs. She has published 2 books and 1 patent.
Mr. Anand Kumar Gupta is working as Assistant Professor at Om Sri Sai Pharmacy College of Education Madhubani Bihar. He did his M.Pharm in Pharmaceutical Chemistry.
