About Book
The major aim to write this textbook is to provide information in articulate summarized manner to accomplish necessities of undergraduates as per PCI regulation. This volume is designed not only according to curriculum of undergraduate courses in pharmacy by PCI but also to communicate knowledge on Pharmaceutical Jurisprudence for post graduate learners. We assured this book will be originated very valuable by graduates, post graduates, professors and industrial learners. About Author
Dr. Surya Devarakonda is currently working as Professor and Head of the Department, Pharmacology at Samskruti College of Pharmacy affiliated to JNTUH. He has around 16 years of teaching, research and industry expertise in India and abroad. He is a recipient of “Prathibha Puraskar” Award for securing state 2nd rank in E.Cet entrance exam in united Andhra Pradesh state. He did his PhD under a DST sponsored 20 Lakhs project from Andhra University. He received an international travel grant from DST to present his research work in Gothenburg, Sweden. He generated 3 patents from his PhD work. He published his research work in the journals of international repute. He published two books by German publishers and a book chapter by Bentham series publishers edited by Prof. Dr. Ataur Rehman.
Dr. P. Sailaja Rao, Professor and Head of the Department, Pharmacology, working in Teegala Ram Reddy College of Pharmacy (Affiliated to JNTUH) has completed her PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from JNTU- Hyderabad. She is an Academician exposed to teaching and Research in the last 19 years. She is more research oriented and has been into the research plat form carrying different pre-clinical projects in as much as 17 years. Her areas of interests are diabetes, drug-drug interactions, and behavioral studies and have made significant contribution in herbal medicines. She presented her Research papers in Dubai and Malaysia. She has 46 papers in Research and presented 12 papers in National and International Conferences. She is a recipient of two Awards for her oral presentations in two International Conferences. Her last experience was at University College of Pharmacy, Jazan University, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as an Assistant Professor. She has been appointed as CPCSEA Nominee by Govt of India, handling about eight establishments in and around Hyderabad.
