About Book
This book, A text book of Pharmaceutical Marketing Management, has been meticulously designed in alignment with the syllabus framed by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), catering to the academic and practical needs of Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) 8th semester students (BP803ET) in accordance to the prescribed scope and course objective. The book aims to provide an understanding of marketing concepts and techniques and their applications in the pharmaceutical industry, really helpful to the pharmacy students at large.
About Author
Dr. Bibaswan Mishra is a distinguished researcher and academician specializing in the field of Pharmacy. With 20 years of experience in academia and research, he has contributed significantly with commendable research work in the areas of Nanotechnology, microemulsion, SMEDDS, Matrix tablets, CDDS, Bioadhesives, Oleogel, Bigel dosage forms etc. Currently, Dr. Mishra serves as Associate Professor in Pharmaceutics at Institute of Pharmacy & Technology, Salipur, Cuttack, Odisha, India. His research focuses on nanosuspension, microemulsion and transethosomes leading to groundbreaking insights published in esteemed journals such as Carbohydrate polymer, International Journal of Biological Macromolecules, Material Science and Engineering C, Chemical Biology Drug Discovery etc. Dr. Mishra has authored 31 research papers, 2 books, and 7 book chapters. Passionate about mentoring the next generation of scholars, the author has guided 35 M. Pharm students and guiding 3 no. of Ph. D. scholars enrolled under BPUT. Beyond academia, actively engages in academic collaborations. He is a Life member of APTI and IPA. Dr. Mishra has also acted as invited reviewer in many peer review journals and is currently in the panel of editorial board member in two reputed international journals. His work continues to shape the future of pharmaceutical industry, driving innovation and knowledge forward.
Dr. Prasanta Kumar Biswal, Professor cum H.O.D at Gayatri College of Pharmacy, jamadar Pali, Sason, Sambalpur, Odisha, India has been in the teaching & research profession for twenty years. He completed his M. Pharm (Pharmaceutics) from Utkal university Bhubaneswar in 2005, Ph.D. from Berhampur University in 2015 & MBA from Sambalpur University. During this period, he has been guided two no of Ph. D, forty-three no of M. pharm & 53 no of B. pharm students.
