About Book

A Textbook on Pharmaceutical Inorganic and Analytical Chemistry is crafted in alignment with the New Education Policy (NEP) 2020, focusing on conceptual clarity, application-based learning, and essential skill development. The book provides a strong foundation in analytical chemistry and inorganic pharmaceuticals, linking core chemical principles with real-world applications in pharmacy. Organized into five concise units, it introduces pharmaceutical analysis, impurities, and quality control, followed by fundamental concepts of acid–base chemistry, buffers, and electrolytes. It further explains titrimetric and gravimetric methods, including acid–base, redox, precipitation, complexometric, and non-aqueous titrations relevant to pharmaceutical analysis. Special chapters cover gastrointestinal agents, antimicrobials, radiopharmaceuticals, hematinic, antidotes, and other therapeutic inorganic compounds, ensuring professional applicability. To promote holistic learning, the book integrates concepts from chemistry, medicine, and regulatory science. With problem-solving exercises and application-based discussions, it prepares students for academic excellence and future roles as competent pharmacy professionals aligned with modern healthcare needs.
