About Author

Dr. Uttam Sharma is presently working as Principal at the Institute of Pharmacy, Jalpaiguri, West Bengal. He has a total of 19 years of teaching, administrative, and research experience. He is a life member of the Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India, Indian Pharmacy Association, Indian Society of Pharmacognosy, and Paschimbanga Vigyan Mancha. Natural member of the ‘East Himalayan Society for Spermatophyte Taxonomy. He has published 12 research and review papers in various national and international journals. He has delivered many expert lectures in various colleges and scientific forums, Nationally and Internationally. He has completed his master's degree from The M.G.R Medical University, Tamil Nadu, and Ph.D. from The West Bengal University of Health Sciences, Kolkata. His field of interest in ethnomedicine.
