About Author
Ms. Smita Prabhakar Mali is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutics at Matoshri Education Society’s MABD Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Yevla. She completed her B.Pharmacy from Smt. Sharadchandrika Suresh Patil College of Pharmacy, Chopda (North Maharashtra University), and her M.Pharmacy from K.V.P.S. Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Shirpur (North Maharashtra University). She is presently pursuing her PhD in Pharmacy from K.M. University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. Ms. Mali has eight years of teaching experience and three years of industrial experience. She has published ten review and research articles in reputed national and international journals. She has guided eight B.Pharmacy students in publishing book chapters with Academic Decipher. She is the inventor of one UK patent and one Indian patent and has served as an examiner and evaluator for D.Pharmacy and B.Pharmacy programs.

Dr. Chandrakala V. is a Professor and Head of the Department at East Point College of Pharmacy, Bengaluru, with more than 18 years of experience in teaching, research, and academic leadership. She holds a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Vellore, and completed her B.Pharm and M.Pharm (Pharmaceutics) from the Government College of Pharmacy, Bengaluru, with distinction. Her research expertise includes novel drug delivery systems, bioadhesive and mucoadhesive formulations, nanoparticles, cubosomes, transdermal drug delivery systems, pharmacokinetics, and bioequivalence studies. She has published over 30 research articles in reputed national and international journals, contributed book chapters, and serves as an editorial board member of a pharmaceutical research journal. Dr. Chandrakala has received research grants, holds a granted patent, and has filed multiple patents. As the IQAC Coordinator, she played a pivotal role in securing a B++ grade during the NAAC accreditation process (2024), reflecting her commitment to academic quality and institutional excellence.

Dr. Y. Ganesh Kumar, M.Pharm., PhD, is currently serving as Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutics at Bharat Institute of Technology – Pharmacy, Mangalpally Village, Ibrahimpatnam Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, Telangana, India. He completed his M.Pharm with specialization in Pharmaceutics and was awarded a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, Telangana. He has 15 years of teaching experience and has authored 64 research publications in reputed journals indexed by Scopus, Elsevier, Springer, Wiley, and Taylor & Francis. He holds 16 Indian patent publications, four UK design patents, and one German patent. Dr. Kumar has published nine books and three book chapters and has guided 42 B.Pharm projects and 55 M.Pharm projects. He has also successfully guided three PhD research scholars at BTU, Manipur. He serves as an editorial board member for several pharmaceutical science journals and is a life member of the Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI) and the Indian Pharmacy Graduates’ Association (IPGA).

Mrs. Jupalli Santhi Priya is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutics at A.M. Reddy College of Pharmacy, Guntur. She has over eight years of teaching experience and three years of industrial experience. She completed her B.Pharm from Nirmala College of Pharmacy, Guntur, and her M.Pharm from Vishwabharathi College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Guntur. She is currently pursuing her doctoral research as a research scholar at Andhra Kesari University (AKU), Ongole. Her research contributions include a publication titled “Formulation and Evaluation of Mucoadhesive Colon-Targeted Drug Delivery System for Prednisolone” in the Journal of Emerging Technologies and Innovative Research, along with two research articles published in Scopus-indexed journals. She has also served as an examiner and evaluator for D.Pharmacy and B.Pharmacy programs.

Dr. Bandla Indraja is presently working as a Professor at Max Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Khammam, Telangana. She obtained her B.Pharmacy degree from Max Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Khammam, affiliated with Kakatiya University, Warangal, Telangana, and completed her M.Pharmacy in Pharmaceutics from Priyadarshini College of Pharmacy, Narapally, Ranga Reddy District, Telangana. She holds a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Shri JJT University, Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan. With 11 years of teaching experience in pharmacy education, she has served as Assistant Professor and Associate Professor. Under her mentorship, approximately 20 B.Pharmacy and M.Pharmacy student projects have been successfully completed. She has published research articles in reputed national and international journals, and her research interests include novel drug delivery systems and herbal drug formulations.
