About Author
Dr. Biresh Kumar Sarkar having 30 years of experience in different Pharmaceutical segment. Out of which 10 years in reputed Pharmaceutical industry in Gujarat & W.B and became Production Manager in different dosages forms. He has got Drug Approval as competent technical staff in drug manufacturing from Directorate of Drugs Control, West Bengal and Food & Drug Administration, Gujarat. Eight years in teaching in faculty of Pharmacy as Professor& Principal. Presently working in Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS), New Delhi under Ministry of AYUSH as Assistant Director Pharmacy. He has worked in different units of CCRAS in Kerala, Patiala, Jhansi and now posted in Calcutta. Dr. Biresh Kumar Sarkar, completed B.Pharm, M.Pharm (Pharmaceutics), M.Tech (Pharmaceutical Technology) and PhD in Pharmacy from reputed Universities in India. He has completed his PhD in Pharmacy from Indian University and Chartered Chemist from Institution of Chemists (India), Kolkata. Dr. Biresh Kumar Sarkar has published more than 80 papers in various reputed journals and life members with various Pharmaceutical organizations. He was guided pharmacy students for PhD and M.Pharm thesis in Rajasthan University of Health Sciences, Jaipur, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad & other Universities. Dr.Biresh Kumar Sarkar has presently involved in Ayurvedic Drug Development, Manufacturing, Quality Control & GMP related issues.
Prof. Ramanpreet Walia has done B. Pharm from SBS Dehradun, M. Pharm from Panjab University, Chandigarh, India and PhD from Gyan Vihar University, Jaipur, India. She has 23 years of teaching and research experience. Her research area includes exploring Traditional Plants for various Phytochemicals as lead compounds, exploring analytical techniques for microplastics. Method validation, Role of Phytochemicals for sedentary lifestyle issues. She is also a registered Patent Agent by GOI. She has guided 10 post graduate Students and 06 PhD (5 pursuing) student. She has published 40 research papers and filed 03 patents. She has authored 4 book chapters. She has delivered many invited talks in different national and international conferences and seminars, and chaired various technical sessions in different national and International conferences. Prof Walia is representing North Zone coordinator for Indian Pharmacy Graduate Association - Women Forum . She is life member of various national societies like IPGA, APTI, SPER and IHPA.
Dr. Ojaswi Prashant Ghadge is an Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry at Saraswathi Vidya Bhavan’s College of Pharmacy, Dombivli (E), Maharashtra. With over 16 years of teaching and research experience, she specializes in analytical method development and validation, medicinal chemistry, and computer-aided drug design. She holds an M.Pharm in Quality Assurance and a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from S.N.D.T. Women’s University's C. U. Shah College of Pharmacy, Juhu, Mumbai. Her research contributions span RP-HPLC method development, solubility studies, and synthesis of bioactive heterocyclic compounds, computer aided drug designing with several publications in national and international journals. In her teaching and mentoring role, she guides M.Pharm research students. She has been recipient of many prizes and awards for presenting research papers at various platforms including IPC conference and APTICON.
Dr. Archana Bele is an Associate Professor at the VIVA Institute of Pharmacy, Virar, with 17 years of academic experience. She holds a Ph.D. in Pharmacy, an M.Pharm in Quality Assurance, and an MBA. Dr. Bele has guided several M.Pharm and B.Pharm students in their project work and has published 22 research and review articles. She has also authored a book titled “Textbook of Modern Pharmaceutics”, designed as per the latest M.Pharm syllabus prescribed by the Pharmacy Council of India. In addition, she serves as a journal editor and reviewer and has actively participated in numerous pharmaceutical conferences and workshops.
Dr. D. Sudhahar is currently working as a Professor & Head, Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Analysis at Nehru College of Pharmacy (Nehru Group of Institutions), Thiruvilwamala, Thrissur, Kerala, affiliated to Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur, Kerala. He has completed B.Pharm from The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R Medical University, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, M.Pharm & Ph.D from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, West Bengal. He is a GATE (Pharmaceutical Sciences) qualified member. He is having 20 years of teaching, research and administrative experience with UG and PG students. He was a former Dean, Faculty of Pharmacy, Asia Metropolitan University, Malaysia in collaboration with LaTrobe University, Australia. He has participated in various National and International Conferences, Symposiums, Faculty Development Programme and Workshops organized by different Pharmacy Professional bodies. He has published 25 research papers in reputed National and International journals. He has published 05 Books and 05 patents to his credit. He is the life member of IPA, APTI, IPGA, IRCS and Malaysian Pharmaceutical Society.
