About Book
Human Anatomy and Physiology-II has been meticulously prepared in accordance with the latest Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) syllabus for B.Pharm Second Semester (BP201T). The textbook has been designed to serve as a complete learning resource that integrates anatomical concepts with physiological mechanisms in a simple, systematic, and student-friendly manner. Every effort has been made to present complex biological concepts in a logical sequence using clear language, well-labeled illustrations, flowcharts, tables, and clinical correlations to facilitate better understanding and long-term retention.
The book comprehensively covers all the prescribed units of the PCI curriculum, including the Nervous System, Digestive System, Respiratory System, Urinary System, Endocrine System, Reproductive System, and Genetics. Each chapter begins with clearly defined learning objectives and progresses through the anatomy, physiology, regulatory mechanisms, and important clinical aspects of the respective organ system. Emphasis has been placed on explaining the relationship between structure and function, thereby enabling students to understand the physiological basis of health and disease.
