About Book
Advanced Pharmacology-I has been conceived in response to these rapid developments, with the aim of providing a comprehensive, concept-driven, and clinically relevant resource for advanced students and professionals in pharmacy, medicine, and allied health sciences. This textbook is designed to bridge the gap between foundational pharmacological principles and their modern applications in therapeutics and research. Emphasis has been placed on mechanisms of drug action at molecular, cellular, and system levels, pharmacokinetic–pharmacodynamic relationships, signal transduction pathways, receptor theory, drug–drug interactions, and the scientific basis of adverse drug reactions. Contemporary topics such as pharmacogenomics, targeted drug delivery, biologics, monoclonal antibodies, gene- and cell-based therapies, and regulatory perspectives have been integrated to reflect current and emerging trends in pharmacology.
