A National conference was organised on 3rd and 4th November 2023 in the Department of Shikshashastri- B.Ed of Shree Jagannath Sanskrit University, ShreeVihar, Puri, where many reputed Educationists has attended and conveyed their ideas and opinions in a special paper . As a result all these opinions has been congregated to publish a book as Teacher Education: Issues and Innovations .
About Author
Dr. Laxmidhar Panda the Editor of this book is presently working as Assistant professor in the Department of Shikshashastri-B.Ed of Shree Jagannath Sanskrit University, ShreeVihar, Puri since 2012. He has obtained his M.Ed and Ph.D from Rastriya Sanskrit Vidyapeeth, Tirupati. He has 15 years of experience as Assistant professor in B.Ed Programme. Dr. Panda has written two books. Such as-
1- Value Education and Human Rights
2- Teachers Training Technology
He has in his credit already published several research papers and articles in national and international journals in addition to presenting in various conferences and seminars. He is an Odia Poet and contributed many Odia poems in 'kabi sammilanis' and published in different Odia magazines. He is also working as a Social worker in puri for the eradication of social and personal problems of the society. He has served two and half years as principal of the same department.
