Main Author- Mrs. Garima Singh
Mrs. Garima Singh is an accomplished academician and researcher in the field of Pharmaceutics. She has teaching experience in pharmacy institutions in Gujarat and is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutics at Oriental College of Pharmacy, Sanpada, Navi Mumbai.
She is a Gold Medalist in M.Pharm (Pharmaceutics) and a First Rank Holder from Gujarat Technological University, with national-level recognition including GPAT qualification (2019). She completed her Bachelor and Master of Pharmacy from Gujarat Technological University and is presently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Pharmaceutical Sciences at BMU, Surat. Her PhD synopsis has been approved and submitted, and the award of the doctoral degree is awaited.
Mrs. Singh has several years of teaching experience in Pharmaceutics-I and other core pharmaceutical subjects, along with industrial exposure through Quality Control internships at reputed pharmaceutical companies. Her academic and research interests include conventional and novel drug delivery systems, niosomal and vesicular formulations, herbal bioactive-based drug delivery, and formulation optimization using Design of Experiments (DoE).
She has authored multiple research articles published in reputed national and international journals, including journals indexed in Scopus and Web of Science, and has actively contributed to academic forums through conference presentations, evaluation responsibilities, and student mentoring.
Mrs. Singh is deeply committed to pharmaceutical education and emphasizes integrating fundamental principles with practical formulation approaches, making this book a student-centric and concept-oriented resource for Pharmaceutics-I.

Mrs. Joshna Mali is a pharmaceutical researcher and pharmacy professional with prior academic teaching experience, along with active involvement in research and social service initiatives. She has completed her Bachelor and Master of Pharmacy from Gujarat Technological University and is currently pursuing her Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
She has previously contributed to undergraduate and postgraduate pharmacy education, gaining experience in teaching various pharmacy subjects and engaging in academic mentoring and scholarly activities.
Mrs. Mali has been involved in pharmaceutical research and academic endeavors, including participation in research projects, internships with pharmaceutical research organizations, and active engagement in national and international conferences, where she has presented her work and contributed to academic discussions.
At present, she is actively associated with social service and community development initiatives, working with non-governmental organizations such as Shabri Chhatralaya, Kaprada (Valsad) and N.K. Sonawala Charitable Trust. Through her work, she is committed to promoting health awareness, education, and women empowerment, reflecting her dedication to societal welfare alongside her professional background.
