About Book

Humanities domain has presented readers with unique global issues and new challenges of social, political, economic and environmental instabilities. The environmental issues affecting the human health, social media giving birth to fake news, distorted facts and fabricated truth requires a dynamic criticism which evaluate the human society, psychology and political volatility from the perspective of value-judgement rather than just interpretating the issues without genuine concern to solve. There has been a lot of resource investments and initiatives for environmental protection, conservation of natural habitats and climate change but little research has been devoted to the systematic creation, restoration and dissemination of knowledge system for a sustainable future society overcoming the issues. Human society aspires to create, structure and disseminate knowledge system for a sustainable and equitable society where development of the society and ethical parameters are given utmost significance. Therefore, creating a knowledge base by structuring and organizing cultural, economic, political and technological capital needs to be prioritized. The knowledge should be carried forward through rituals, cultural activities and it should be restored in various art forms. The three pillars of a society include environment concern, social justification and economic plan which ensures that a balance is maintained for the smooth sustenance of the society. Keeping pace with socio-political transformation, literary Studies in the twenty-first century has proceeded beyond the published narratives for its research endeavours and embraced a larger latitude of narrativity, precisely because the notion of text has undergone significant changes. A divergence from traditional theoretical frameworks and a convergence toward post humanities theoretical frameworks to study unique post-millennial contextual situations has become the need of the hour. This volume aims to explore the vast matrix of cultural, social and political reflections of various milieus and attempts to create and contribute to the knowledge system which would ensure we are building a sustainable future.
