About book : Urbanization is seen as an indicator of economic progress. There is dissimilarity in economic and social development between the district of Nagpur divisions. Therefore, there is difference in the urbanization of every district. This urbanization has two sides. On one hand it gives new economic and social opportunities and on the other hand it gives birth to many problems. It is important from development aspect but we can’t neglect the side effects of urbanization. Therefore, for urban planning, the balanced development of every district in Nagpur division is required. Therefore, some measures have been taken. In the present study, what are the factors responsible for the urbanization of Nagpur Division? What are the problems that are being cause by the urbanization? Are service facilities being stressed under urbanization? Is there any difference in life style between small and big cities? What are the solutions over these problems of urbanization? These problems have been studies in order to fulfill the objectives.
