Landslides are the result of induced process under the extreme location of a wide mountainous region and prolonged heavy rainfall or cloud bursts, cyclones, earthquake, floods and unsafe developmental activities. That is the reseaon that avalanches are a multi-catastrophic event which on one hand is caused by many processes and on the other hand brings together many disasters. Therefore, it is included in the primary disaster. The techno-process based disruption of ecological cycle is a disaster and Landslide is one of these disasters. The intensity and frequency of landslide disaster has increased in present days. In this book, the author has tried to present the Landslide Disaster Plan in two parts and seven chapters. In part-A first chapter deals about morphology of landslide, chapter second explain the types of landslide, chapter three examine the causes of landslide, chapter four elaborates about flow type of landslide, chapter five explains the importance and empact of landslide, chapter six delightes the impact and distribution of landslide whereas in part B chapter 7 emphasis the different methods and techniques of landslide disaster mangement through different processes. Therefore the whole book is very usefull in the study of Landslide Disaster Management Technology.
