About author : This book, Various Contexts of Indian Knowledge Systems, has been expertly edited by Dr. Shashikant Awasthi, an esteemed sociologist and academic. Dr. Awasthi completed his MA in Sociology in 2012 and later earned his PhD from Dr. Hari Singh Gour University, Sagar. His doctoral research focused on cross-cultural marriages in the context of international interactions, showcasing his deep understanding of cultural dynamics. In addition to qualifying for NET and holding both Junior and Senior Research Fellowships (JRF and SRF), Dr. Awasthi has previously published the book National Education Policy 2020. Currently, he serves as an Assistant Professor of Sociology at Government Girls PG College, Chhatarpur.
