About Author
Chandan Rai was born in Chapra (Saran), Bihar, and grew up in Bokaro Steel City, Jharkhand. He secured AIR 21 in NIFT (BF Tech.) and was among the top rank holders. Later, he chose to pursue a course in Hospitality Management, which led him into the hospitality industry.
His work has allowed him to meet people from different backgrounds, cultures, and walks of life. He has also travelled to countries such as France, Belgium, Luxembourg, the UAE, Qatar, Nepal, and the Maldives. These experiences helped him see life from different perspectives and understand that everyone has their own struggles, dreams, and challenges.
This is his first book.
The inspiration for "Do Suicide" came from seeing people lose hope, struggle silently, and slowly distance themselves from life. It made Chandan realise that sometimes, people do not need perfect advice or solutions. They simply need someone who will listen, understand, and stay beside them during a difficult time.
Through this book, he hopes to remind readers that problems are a part of life, but they do not have to become the end of life. Sometimes, taking one small step, having one honest conversation, or simply knowing that someone cares can make a difference.
Chandan believes in living a simple life, enjoying simple food and travelling. His experiences, conversations, and travels have shaped the way he looks at life and inspired him to write this book.
He hopes that somewhere in these pages, you may find a thought, a story, or a few words that stay with you when you need them most.
