About author : Dr. Jyotikusum Acharya Dr.Acharya has received his M.Sc in Environmental Science (F.M. University, Balasore, Odisha), M.Tech in Energy and Environment Management (School of Energy and Environment Management, Rajiv Gandhi Technological University, Bhopal, MP) and PhD in Civil Engineering (National Institute of Technology, Silchar, Assam). He has been doing many NPTEL Course on “Environment” from IIT Kharagapur. He has done his long time research work in the Department of Chemical Engineering at IIT Kharagapur. He has been published many research papers in the high impact factor journals like Chemical Engineering journal, Bioresource Technology, Taylor francis, Hazardous Material & many other journals. His research area is Heavy Metal removal using local material in Adsorption Technology, Air pollution control & Solid waste management. He has been teaching in many institutions likes MA-NIT Bhopal, ICFAI University Tripura, Calcutta Institute of Technology, Howrah, ST. Mary’s Group of Institutes,Hyderabad & Malla Reddy Institute of Technology, Hyderabad.
