About Author
Dr. Neelam Vashist, is presently
working as Assistant Professor in the
Department of Pharmaceutical
Sciences, Gurugram University,
Gurugram. She has awarded her
Doctorate degree from Guru Gobind
Singh Indraprastha University, New
Delhi in 2016 and Master’s degree
from Guru Jambheshwar University,
Hisar in 2005. Her field of
specialization is Pharmaceutical
Chemistry. She has 20 Years of
teaching experience. Her area of
research is QSAR studies, Molecular
Docking, Synthesis of medicinally
important compounds, antimicrobial
and anticancer activities etc. She has
around 30 publications including
book chapters, research papers and
review articles in various national and
international journals of repute. She is
the main author of an edited book
recently published in 2024. She has
successfully presented more than 22
papers as oral/posters in various
conferences. She has received best
poster award in ISFCON-2021,
International Conference on July 01st
-3rd 2021 at ISF College of
Pharmacy, Moga. She is a life
member of various national bodies of
pharmacy including APTI, IPGA and
IJHP etc.
2 Dr. Arun Kumar Arun Kumar has completed his B.
Pharm. From Department of
Pharmaceutical Sciences, Maharshi
Dayanand University in 2004 and he
has completed his M. Pharmacy with
distinction in Pharmaceutical
Chemistry specialization from
Department of Pharmaceutical
Engineering and Technology
(Formerly Department of
Pharmaceutics) Indian Institute of
Technology (Banaras Hindu
University) Varanasi (IIT-BHU) in
2006. Currently he is working as
Associate Professor in Department of
Pharmaceutical Sciences, Gurugram
University (State Government
University, and Gurugram-122003
Haryana. He guided B. Pharm. & M.
Pharm. Students. He has authored 2
books and more than 25 research and
review articles published in National
and International Journal of repute
with very good citations and h-index
to his credit. He has presented many
research papers in various National &
International conferences and
symposium organized by AICTE,
PCI, APTI and IPA. He passed three
time GATE examinations in
Pharmaceutical Sciences discipline.
He has been appointed as founder
faculty member of National Institute
of Pharmaceutical Education and
Research, NIPER-Raebareli. He has
been worked as Faculty member in
GJU of Science & technology. Hisar
& SBMNIPSR. He served as Director
& Principal World college of
Pharmaceutical Sciences, Jhajjar. He
has been worked as Chairman &
member in various committees
constituted by State Government
University level.
3 Dr. Rajiv Kumar Prof. Rajiv Kumar is presently
serving as Professor and Dean,
School of Pharmaceutical Sciences,
NIILM University India. He has
received his Ph.D. from UIPS, Center
of Advanced Studies Panjab
University Chandigarh, master degree
in Pharmaceutics in 2006 from MD
University Rohtak, India. He works in
collaboration with various research
institutions for generating proof of
concepts including but not limited to
IIT Delhi, IMTECH and NIPER
Mohali. His teaching and research
interests include Formulation
optimization and finding alternate
routes of drug delivery. He has guided
M. Pharm students, presented papers
in various national and
international conferences in India and
abroad. He has published/reviewed
several articles in journal of
international repute including NCBI,
Elsevier, Bentham Sciences,
Taylor&Francis. He has delivered
lectures as resource person in
seminars & workshops across India.
Dr. Rajiv Kumar is a recipient of
international travel grants from DST
and ICMR India to visit and present
oral talks overseas. He is key member
of various committees constituted by
state/university.
4 Dr. Soniya Yadav Dr. Sonia Yadav, is presently working
as Associate Professor in SGT
College of Pharmacy, SGT
University, Gurugram. She has
awarded her Doctorate degree from
SGT University, Gurugram in 2023
and Master’s degree from
Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra
in 2007. Her field of specialization is
Pharmaceutical Chemistry. She has
15 Years of teaching experience. Her
area of research are Molecular
Docking, Synthesis of medicinally
important compounds, anti
inflammatory, antimicrobial and
anticancer activities etc. She has
around 20 publications including
book chapters, research papers and
review articles in various national and
international journals of repute. She
has successfully presented more than
20 papers as oral/posters in various
conferences. She is a life member of
various national bodies of pharmacy
including APTI & IPGA.
5 Dr. Sangeeta Saini Dr. Sangita Saini, is presently
working as Principal in Bhagwan
Mahavir Institute of Medical
Sciences, Sonepat, Haryana. She has
been awarded her Ph.D degree from
Jawahar Lal Nehru Technological
University, Hyderabad in 2013 and
Master’s degree from Guru
Jambheshwar University of Science
and Technology, Hisar. Her field of
specialization is Pharmaceutics. She
has 20 years of teaching experience.
Her area of research of research is
molecular docking, synthesis of
surfactant, nanoparticle, antidiabetic
and antioxidant herbal drug. She has
around 35 publications including
book chapters, research papers and
review articles in various national and
international journals of repute. She
has published 5 patent. She has
supervised two Ph.D candidates. She
is life member of various national
bodies of Pharmacy including IPGA.
