Dr Sumitra Meena is an Assistant Professor & Scientist in AICRP on Women in Agriculture, ICAR-CIWA, Bhuvneshwar) in the Department of Food Science and Nutrition College of Community and Applied Sciences, Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology, Udaipur, Rajasthan. She is also a certified Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) super coach. She did her M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Food Science and nutrition from University of Agriculture Sciences, Bangalore and Rajasthan University Jaipur respectively. She has extension work experience at Krishi Vigyan Kendra for 4 years and presently involved in teaching and research field. She has to her credit author edited book, six book chapter, fifteen popular articles in different magazines and sixteen research papers in National and international journals. She has actively participated and presented various paper in various National and international workshop seminar and conferences, she also contributed to develop range of booklets, folders and study materials. She is recipient of “Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam- Puruskar-2022 for Academic Excellence as Teaching and Research Excellence”, “Savitri Bai Phule Shikshika Samman 2023”, “District Collector & District Magistrate Award for women empowerment on Independence Day 15th August, 2023” and “Indian Icon Award 2024 for Contribution to Education Community”
