About Book

General Pharmacy (BP102T) is a core theory subject of the first semester of the B. Pharm programme, and it forms the foundation on which the entire course is built. This book has been prepared strictly in accordance with the PCI B. Pharm syllabus under NEP 2020 and covers all five units in five corresponding chapters — the profession of pharmacy and prescription handling, pharmaceutical calculations, solid dosage forms, monophasic and biphasic liquids, and semisolid dosage forms. The text has been written for the beginner. Every concept is developed from first principles in simple language and illustrated with examples drawn from actual pharmacy practice.
