About author : The study material for this book on CDS has been compiled by Lieutenant Colonel Ajit Singh (Retired) who is an alumnus of National Defence Academy, Pune & Indian Military Academy, Dehradun. He served the Army in Gorkha Regiment for over two decades in various parts of the country; from plains of Punjab to High Altitude area in North Sikkim, Line of Control in J & K to Insurgency area in Manipur, & various other places within the country. Having completed his MBA, he took premature retirement from the Army and thereafter pursued his career in the Corporate Sector where he worked with some of the most renowned organizations like Aditya Birla Group, Hindustan Zinc, Tata Motors, Welspun India Ltd. & finally retired as General Manager HR & Admin from Zydus Cadila, an MNC. Post retirement, to utilize his nearly four decades of rich Army as well as Corporate experience he now runs a Coaching Institute by the name, ‘Defence Tutors’, where he provides coaching to NDA/CDS/AFCAT/CAPF(AC) aspirants both in written and SSB.
