About book : It gives immense pleasure to introduce the book, “Pharmacology III”. The Book has been strictly written as per the syllabus prescribed by the Pharmacy Council of India, for Bachelor in Pharmacy students. An effort has been made to explore the subject in a simple language which can be easily understandable for students. Several diagrams and flowcharts are included in the book to make concept easy to understating for students. It is author’s sincere hope that students as well as academicians will find this book useful. Pharmacology and therapeutics is the base for the disease management. This book comprising all pharmacological and clinical treatments schemes and drug combinations for various diseases and also contains pathophysiological with treatment targets. In this book, major focused on pharmacology of star drug of respective category includes contraindications, indications and ADR, Drug Interaction and pharmacokinetics in a very simple and understandable manner. I wish this book will get good response from the students and teachers. Suggestions from all concerns of the profession are welcome. About author : Prof. Prasad Neerati is currently working as PRINCIPAL & HEAD, Professor of Pharmacology, in Kakatiya University Warangal. He obtained his Ph.D from Kakatiya University in Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2007. He has received UGC-CV Raman Fellowship from UGC for PDF in USA (2014). He has guided 6 students for their PhD Degrees and currently guiding 5 Research scholars and 60 Students for Pharmacy Masters Degree. He has published 72 research papers in national and international journals and he has 9 granted patents from Germany. He has completed 03 Major Research Projects. He was honoured with Outstanding Scientist Award (2022) by INSO, VDGOOD Professional Association, and India. He has being awarded with TAS Fellowship 2023, Govt. of Telangana. He was honoured with Best Researcher Award (2024) by ScienceFather, Indian Scientist Awards, India.
