About author : Dr. Ashim Kumar Sen currently holds the position of Professor & Head of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Analysis at the Department of Pharmacy, Sumandeep Vidyapeeth Deemed to be University, located in Piparia, Vadodara, Gujarat, India. He earned his undergraduate degree in 2003 from Himalayan Pharmacy Institute, Sikkim, affiliated with the University of North Bengal, West Bengal. Subsequently, he completed his postgraduate studies in 2008 at the College of Pharmacy, SRIPMS, Coimbatore, affiliated with The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai. Dr. Sen obtained his PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Sumandeep Vidyapeeth Deemed to be University, Gujarat, in 2015. With over 15 years of experience in teaching and research, he has made significant contributions to the field. His scholarly work includes the publication of over 100 research and review articles, authoring 2 books, contributing to 30 book chapters, and securing 4 patents. Furthermore, he has provided guidance to more than 25 postgraduate students and guided/guiding 4 students for their PhD degrees. His primary areas of expertise encompass Analytical Method Development and Validation of Pharmaceuticals, Stability studies, impurity profiling, and experimental design, reflecting a comprehensive and accomplished career in pharmaceutical sciences. Mr. P. S. Minhas working as Principal in Priyadarshini College Of Pharmacy, Koratagere, Tumkur.
