Dr. Anand Mundada is an accomplished pharmaceutical scientist and academician with over 22 years of rich experience in research, teaching, and institutional development. He completed his M. Pharm in Pharmaceutical Chemistry (2004) and earned his Ph.D. in 2013, specializing in the design and synthesis of novel anti-aging molecules. His doctoral research led to the discovery of 25+ innovative anti-aging compounds, demonstrating activity up to 1000 times more potent than currently available drugs.

A highly respected mentor, Dr. Mundada has guided 60+ postgraduate and 40+ undergraduate students and is a recognized Ph.D. Supervisor under KBC North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon. His strategic teaching methodologies, including blind-spot analysis and time-bound conceptual evaluation, have played a key role in helping numerous students excel in GPAT and other competitive examinations. His unique teaching methodology is highly appreciated for eliminating students’ fear of complex subjects—especially Medicinal Chemistry—by making concepts simple, logical, and engaging. He has been invited as a guest speaker at numerous government and private institutions, including the Department of Pharmacy at Barkatullah University, Shastri College of Pharmacy, and several other reputed institutes across the country.
In research, his expertise spans the design of therapeutic agents for neurodegenerative diseases (Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s), diabetes, and anti-aging disorders, along with strong proficiency in analytical method development across advanced instrumentation. His scientific contributions include 5+ utility patents, 2 design patents, 3+ books, and over 26 national and international publications. He is also a recipient of a Government of India research grant exceeding ₹4 lakh.
Beyond his academic and research pursuits, Dr. Mundada is deeply committed to social upliftment. He has been supporting the educational growth of 99 orphaned children and continues to expand this philanthropic mission.
